Kidz Church
Some of the earlier restrictions have been eased or lifted that will now make it possible for us to offer a modified version of Kidz church for our Weekend Worship on June 28. With these considerations, we will be offering Kidz Church the June 28th weekend for children who are in grades 1-5.
Rooms for age groups
Grades 1-2 will be in the Youth Room. Please drop off your child using the building’s right side door that goes to the Youth Room (look for the balloons and signs). You can pick up your child at the end of the service at the alternate door (look for the balloons and signs again). Check out this video for a walkthrough of this process.
Grades 3-5 will be in the Auditorium. Please drop off your child using the building’s right side door that goes to the Auditorium (look for the balloons and signs). You can pick up your child at the end of the service at the alternate door on the opposite side of the building (look for the balloons and signs again). Check out this video for a walkthrough of this process.
Pre-registration
We encourage parents to pre-register their children. You can do that through the Hub. We will also have the ability to register children when they arrive for those who didn’t register ahead of time (especially guests). When your child is dropped off for Kidz Church on Sunday we’ll ask you some basic health screening questions such as…
(1) COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days? (such as fever, shortness of breath, chills, cough,
muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell)
(2) Positive COVID-19 test in the past 14 days?
(3) Close contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases in the past 14 days?
Younger kids (Birth-Kindergarten)
Because it is difficult for younger children to maintain proper distancing, we won’t be able to offer Kidz Church for them just yet. Parents, you are welcome to have your younger children sit with you in the outdoor service.
Masks
Under current guidelines and circumstances, masks will be necessary for all children and children’s workers in Kidz Church. We realize this may be a little tough for the kids, but following this guideline is necessary for all aspects of the service and allows us to be able to provide a Kidz Church ministry for the kids.
