Baby Dedication Service | Mother’s Day weekend, May 11-12
A Baby Dedication service allows parents to recognize that God is the one who gave them their child and to publicly dedicate themselves to pointing their children toward faith in Jesus Christ. It’s also a time for parents to model for them how to be involved in God’s work through His family, the church. If you're interested in dedicating your baby as part of this service, please sign up at the Church Hub. *At least 1 parent must be a partner with New Hope. 
 

Prayer Budget | all the ways to log your minutes...⏰
Here are a few easy ways to log your prayer minutes. 1) head to the Church Hub, 2) on your smartphone download the “Church Center” app (the first time you’ll need to set up an account - just follow the prompts!), or 3) write your prayer minutes on the blue offering envelopes and drop that in the offering baskets or black boxes on the back wall.

Kids’ Ministry Appreciation Brunch | NEXT Sat, April 27th at 10am
If you have served in Kids’ ministry over the past year (Kids Church, AWANA, Upward), we invite you to join us NEXT Sat, April 27th at 10am for our Kids Ministry Appreciation brunch. We will have a special meal, a sweet time of fellowship, as well as some giveaways, and other festivities as we celebrate and appreciate all you have done for our kids’ ministry this year. Students 6-12th grade are invited to join us for Youth Group! Starting May 1st, Youth Group will move from Saturday to Wednesday nights, from 6-8pm at New Hope. "Issues of Life" Counseling Topical | Sun, May 5 from 1-2:30pm
Topical on "Anger"
Our goal is to present a Biblical Worldview for specific issues of life by showing how a Biblical counselor would help someone struggling with those. Each time we meet, we'll also share more about our Counseling Ministry Center, ways to get involved in that, and how to get further Biblical Counseling training. Men’s Retreat, Iron Sharpens Iron | Sat, May 18 
Join a group of men (13+) from our church for a 1-day Men’s Retreat in Albany. Again this year the conference will cover important topics related to Biblical Manhood. Men will be carpooling together, leaving from New Hope at 6:30am on Sat, May 18 (email Dan Hughes at dhughes2818@gmail.com if you want to provide space in your car to travel down). The cost of the event is $49 ($59 after May 10). To register for this event, head to the Church Hub. 1-on-1 Discipleship [mentoring someone in the faith] is one of the "Next Steps" on "The Journey” at New Hope. It’s an important step for each of us to take as we seek to grow as disciples. If you would like to help someone else grow by meeting regularly with them [disciple], or if you are interested in having someone who is further along in their walk meet regularly with you to help you grow [be discipled], then go to the Church Hub to let us know.

New Hope Outside Spring Clean-Up Day! | Sat, May 4 from 7am-noon
Can't take time off from work to travel but still want to be a part of a mission team? We've got a great opportunity to serve our church family on Sat, May 4, from 7am to noon. We'll be waking up the flower beds, laying mulch, and making the grounds look inviting for our guests and church family! Bring a rake and gloves, and we'll have the coffee and snacks to fuel the morning. Let us know you're coming by signing up at the Church Hub.

Praise the Lord for the many college students who continue to come to their weekly dinners, a time when they intentionally engage with the hope of the Gospel. Pray for these students to come to know the Lord as their personal savior and please pray for a few solid Christian students who could move into the Impact House this Fall to help in their ministry.
